Most fleet operators are getting a fraction of the value from their telematics investment. We exist to close that gap — through better configuration, smarter data, and technology that works together instead of in silos.
Fleet operators invest in telematics with high expectations. Twelve months later, the system has drifted. Rules are misconfigured. Features sit unused. Reports get ignored because nobody trusts the data. The platform is always capable — the implementation and ongoing support aren't.
We saw this pattern across mining, oil and gas, construction, councils, equipment hire, and concrete operations. Good technology. Disappointing results. And the root cause was always the same: the people behind the platform either didn't understand the operation, or they'd already moved on to the next sale.
Telematics Australia was built to fix that. We don't sell hardware and disappear. We configure the system properly for how your fleet actually operates, manage it ongoing, build custom tools where the off-the-shelf falls short, and bring specialist technologies together so you're not juggling separate dashboards for separate problems. The goal isn't more technology. It's technology that measurably improves your safety, productivity, and bottom line.
Most providers understand one of these. We bring all three together for your fleet.
We've been inside the Geotab platform since it entered Australia. Over 25,000 vehicles configured across six industries — mining, oil and gas, construction, local government, equipment hire, and concrete operations. Every integration challenge, every edge case, every workaround. You get that hard-won experience from day one, not trial and error on your fleet.
We build what the platform doesn't do out of the box. Custom dashboards, automated exception management, intelligent alerting, predictive maintenance triggers, bespoke integrations. We leverage AI and data engineering to turn your fleet data into decisions — not just a database nobody opens. Every solution is tailored to your operation, because generic doesn't cut it.
Telematics alone doesn't solve fleet problems. We partner with TireCheck for tyre pressure monitoring, Airtec for on-board mass, and other specialist providers — and bring those technologies together through Geotab so your tracking, tyre health, and load management talk to each other. One view of your fleet, not separate silos.
For too long, fleet operators have managed telematics, mass management, and tyre health as separate systems — separate providers, separate dashboards, separate data silos. That's how problems fall through the cracks and money walks out the door.
We bring these technologies together into a single, integrated view of your operation. When your platform knows what your vehicle weighs, how its tyres are performing, where it is, how it's being driven, and whether it meets site access requirements — you stop reacting to problems and start preventing them.
That convergence is what drives everything we do. It's not a future ambition or a slide deck. It's what we deliver today for operators who want more from their fleet technology than a dot on a map.
We partner with the best product providers in each domain and focus on what we do well — making them work together for your operation.
The world's largest commercial telematics platform — 4 million+ connected vehicles globally. Open platform, massive ecosystem, and the most capable fleet management software on the market. We've been deploying and configuring Geotab in Australia since the platform entered the market.
German-engineered tyre pressure and temperature monitoring for commercial fleets. We distribute TireCheck across the Australian market — real-time TPMS that catches tyre issues before they become blowouts, roadside call-outs, and expensive replacements. Integrated with Geotab for a single fleet view.
Australia's leading smart on-board mass system — TCA type-approved, designed and manufactured locally. Real-time axle mass monitoring that eliminates guesswork at the loading point, reduces overload fines, maximises payloads, and cuts unnecessary weighbridge visits.
Off-the-shelf doesn't work for everyone. We build custom solutions using AI, advanced data analysis, and the Geotab SDK to solve problems that standard configurations can't touch. If the platform doesn't do it, we'll build it.

Chad leads the business. He didn't come from a software background — he came up through the operational side of fleet management, tyre technology, and heavy vehicle logistics across every state and territory. The kind of work where you learn what breaks and why, not just what the brochure promises.
When Geotab established its Australian operation, Chad was brought on as Vice President of Sales and Marketing — responsible for opening the Adelaide office, building the national reseller network, and establishing Geotab's market presence across the country. That role gave him a front-row seat to a pattern that kept repeating: operators investing in capable technology and getting poor results because of how it was implemented and supported after the sale.
Before Geotab, he co-founded Vanworks — a commercial vehicle fleet maintenance business in Adelaide, built from the ground up. Workshop, team, processes, all of it. They became known in the market by focusing on what actually mattered to fleet operators, not what was easiest to deliver. He went on to manage Teletrac Navman's SA/NT territory, run mobility solutions at Bridgestone Australia, and as General Manager at Airtec Corporation, led the effort to achieve TCA type approval for their SmartOBM on-board mass products.
Through Pollex Consulting, Chad and the team have built compliance tools for the BMA Alliance and Safer Together programs — purpose-built solutions that leverage Geotab's platform and partner ecosystem to help fleets maintain site access compliance. Pollex operates as a managed service provider for Geotab telematics and partner solutions, and the capabilities developed there feed directly into what Telematics Australia delivers.
That background matters because it means we understand the full stack — telematics, tyre management, on-board mass, compliance, and the daily reality of running vehicles in Australian conditions. But the business today is built on systems, partnerships, and tools that scale well beyond any one person's knowledge. When you work with Telematics Australia, you're backed by a methodology and a technology capability — not just a bloke who's been around the traps.
When you work with us, you deal directly with people who know the platform, know your industry, and understand the operational reality on the ground. We start with your operation — not a product pitch. What's costing you money? What keeps going wrong? What should the technology be doing that it isn't? The answers drive everything we configure.
We stay involved well beyond the install — because that's where most fleet technology falls over. Regular reviews, configuration improvements, new capabilities as your operation evolves. The system should be getting smarter over time, not gathering dust.
No call centres. No tickets disappearing into a queue. If something needs sorting, you know exactly who to call.
"A well-configured Geotab system is the most powerful fleet management tool in the world. A poorly configured one is an expensive GPS tracker. The difference almost always comes down to who's behind it."
